“Renee’s Poems with Wings are Words in Flight,” a phrase that eloquently coins her work. She is an accomplished poet. The dominant themes of her writings are spiritually based. She has been led to write about Black History, The Civil Rights Movement, Slavery, Family and The African American Woman, who at times is taken for granted.

‘Renee’s Poems with Wings are Words in Flight flown across the seas by God’s raven’. There are several Scriptures that I love; however, this one speaks volumes during this ‘season’:

“And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.”

(Genesis 8: 7 KJV)
